This Time Last Month: Gearing Up for FutureScape 2025

Uncategorized

It’s hard to believe that this time last month, we were in full preparation mode — finalising designs, packing samples, and getting ready to head to ExCeL London for FutureScape 2025.

Now that the dust has settled, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what turned out to be one of our biggest and most memorable events to date.

The Build-Up

In the weeks leading up to the show, the Timbosite team was busy putting the final touches on our stand, designing product displays, and preparing to officially unveil our newest collections.

FutureScape has always been a key date in the calendar for the landscaping industry — and for us, it was a chance to show just how far Timbosite has come. From product development and innovation to sustainability and design, it was about presenting the next chapter of what’s possible in outdoor materials.

A Stand That Turned Heads

Our stand, beautifully brought to life by Cornerstone, quickly became a talking point across the event. Every element — from the clean layout to the premium finishes — captured what Timbosite stands for: precision, craftsmanship, and modern performance.

Front and centre was our Heritage Range, displayed alongside the Elite Decking and Cladding Collections. Visitors could get hands-on with the boards, feel the deep-grain textures, and see firsthand how authentic the finishes are compared to traditional timber.

The feedback was fantastic — many were surprised at how natural the look and feel were, while also loving how easy our products are to install and maintain.
And of course, our Timbosite-branded race bike drew plenty of attention and became one of the most-photographed spots on the show floor!

Meeting the Industry

FutureScape isn’t just about products — it’s about people. Over the two days, we met hundreds of landscapers, garden designers, architects, and merchants who were genuinely excited about what we’re doing at Timbosite.

Many conversations centred around the same thing: how to deliver a premium finish that lasts.
We had the opportunity to explain that Timbosite isn’t just another composite brand — our boards are made with a 60% natural wood blend, combining the character of timber with the performance of modern composites.

That balance between authenticity and durability really struck a chord, especially with those tired of seeing decking that fades, cracks, or needs constant upkeep.

We also had some great chats around sustainability, which continues to be a key focus for many in the trade. With our commitment to recyclable materials, long product life cycles, and low maintenance, it was clear that our approach aligns with where the industry is heading.

Chris Saxby Takes the Stage

A real highlight was watching Chris Saxby take to the stage to talk all things Timbosite.
His session pulled in a great crowd and gave real insight into how the brand was born, how it’s grown, and what makes it different.

Chris shared stories from the early development days — from product trials and material testing to the real-world feedback that helped shape our Heritage and Elite ranges. His passion for design, performance, and sustainability came through clearly and left a lasting impression on the audience.

Launching the Heritage Range

FutureScape also marked the official launch of our Heritage Range — a collection created for those who love the look and warmth of real timber but want a board that lasts.

With its deeper embossing, more defined grain, and rich tones like Royal Oak and Antique Chestnut, it quickly became a crowd favourite. Several merchants placed first-time orders during the show, taking advantage of our exclusive 10% FutureScape offer for new stockists.

Building Relationships and Momentum

What stood out most wasn’t just the volume of interest but the quality of conversations.
We met everyone from small independent landscapers to large commercial suppliers, all sharing the same vision — to raise the standard of outdoor design in the UK.

Many left with samples, trade account information, and partnership discussions already in motion.
The buzz across the halls was brilliant — you could genuinely feel the excitement about innovation in the industry, and it was a privilege to be part of it.

A Big Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Timbosite stand — whether you came for a chat, picked up samples, placed an order, or simply snapped a photo of the bike!
Your support and enthusiasm made the whole experience one to remember.

We’d also like to thank Cornerstone for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, and our team for their hard work behind the scenes in making everything come together perfectly.

Looking Ahead

FutureScape 2025 wasn’t just an event — it was a turning point. It showed us the excitement and appetite for high-quality, sustainable outdoor products and reaffirmed why we do what we do.

Over the coming months, we’ll be continuing to grow our trade network, rolling out new marketing support for installers and merchants, and expanding our range across decking, cladding, and fencing.

If you didn’t catch us at the show, you can still explore everything online at www.timbosite.co.uk — or get in touch to request a free sample box and see the quality for yourself.

Here’s to the next chapter — and to an even bigger FutureScape 2026!
